The hotel is located at Via Mauro Comite 26, Amalfi, along the scenic road connecting the center of Amalfi to Positano.
ìAmalfi is connected to Salerno via the SS163 "Amalfitana" road, the panoramic route running along the whole coast (about 45-50 minutes from Salerno). From Naples, take the A3 Naples-Salerno motorway, exiting at Vietri sul Mare (for the coast road from Salerno) or Castellammare di Stabia (for the coast road from Sorrento, SS145), for a total journey of about 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. In July and August and on public holidays, traffic along the coast road can be heavy; we recommend checking parking availability in advance, as parking in central Amalfi is limited and paid.
The SITA bus company regularly connects Salerno, Vietri sul Mare, Cetara, Maiori, Minori and Amalfi, as well as Sorrento and Positano. The stop in Amalfi is Piazza Flavio Gioia, just a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Tickets are sold at tobacco shops and newsstands and must be validated on board.
Amalfi has no train station of its own; the most convenient stations are Salerno and Sorrento (reachable from Naples via the Circumvesuviana line). Regional trains from Napoli Centrale to Salerno take about 40 minutes; from Salerno, continue by SITA bus to Amalfi (about 45-75 minutes depending on stops). Alternatively, from Naples you can take the Circumvesuviana to Sorrento (about 1 hour 10 minutes) and then the SITA bus to Amalfi (about 1 hour 30 minutes).
The nearest airports are Naples Capodichino, the region's main airport with domestic and international connections, and Salerno Costa d'Amalfi Airport, a smaller airport with a limited number of routes. From Naples Capodichino you can continue by bus (the Curreri line to Sorrento) or by private transfer/taxi to Amalfi, or reach Salerno by train and continue by SITA bus.
From April to October, Amalfi is connected by sea to Salerno, Naples (Molo Beverello), Sorrento, Positano and Capri via ferries and hydrofoils. This is a convenient and scenic option, especially in summer when road traffic is heavier; schedules vary seasonally, so we recommend checking with the shipping companies in advance.
